  1. yes. an American made dvd player will play an American made dvd. think tis region 1. i think the plug will be different so youll need an adaptor. why do you want a american dvd player? cant you just buy an english dvd? lol x

  2. I think so. If you buy a dvd player from here(the usa) then it will let you play americas dvds.

  3. Yep if its PAL. If its NSTC doubt it

  4. Yes and no.  It will play them, but the signal will be NTSC and not PAL so your TV (which uses PAL) will not be able to display it.

  5. Tha answer is NO.  You need to have a TV that is a compatible signal as the US which is NTSC.  If your DVD Player is Region 1 Capable, but your TV is not NTSC format, then it will not work.

  6. You should have no problem providing you connect your dvd player to your tv via a HDMI cable as these ports and cables are the same worldwide. If both your tv and dvd player do not support HDMI then dont bother.

Your easiest option is to search the internet for a code you can type in to any dvd player via your remote control to make it region free.
