Registered Airmail....can someone help

i bought an item and is being shipped from china, and its being sent via registered air mail and i have the tracking number and i tracked it by usps website but the problem is its been stuck on international dispatch since august 5th. can anyone help me. i hope the plane didnt crash or sumthin.
