Registration charges in Hyderabad?

Hi ,

I am buying a new flat in Hyderabad and I have a read a recent news article that Government is rising the values for various locations by around 30 % in Hyderabad from August 1 2008. What I am concerned with is , are the registration charges going to be levied on the value of the flat ? or on the value fixed by the government in that specific location. Can someone please advise.

If the market value of the flat (as per ready reconer) is higher than the agreement cost, then the higher value is considered for registration.
