Registration document and road tax?

do i need my new registered keeper document to buy road tax?

i sent off the form days ago i read it takes weeks to get a new registration keeper form.

can i take the little green slip i was left with (section 10) to get my road tax?

help!!?

  1. You can tax it at the P.O. You cannot do it online unless you have been sent the reminder with the unique reference number.


  2. yes you can and you simply fill in a form

  3. You can do it online at the DVLA site, which will probably be quicker in your case.

  4. Yes, you can use the green slip.

  5. Yep! Go online to do it - 5 mins and job done

  6. Yes, you can tax it at the post office with the slip, you won't be able to do it online as the car's not in your name yet.
