Registration of Waverunner in FL?

Hi,

I am intending to purchase a used waverunner in FL that is currently registered. You have to register this as it was a car, correct? As in I will be paying appox 6% of the sale to register it, or do you just renew the registration each year?

Boat registration and title are part of the FL  DMV .   If you buy a waverunner, you need to register it.  You'll need a bill of sale and the old title.  Then next year you get a new sticker.   Good Luck!!!

Yes, it is a power vessel or motor boat, it has to be registered and have the FL #s on the Port Bow in your name.

It also needs to be updated every year. That is just a sticker, is a tax thing and is for insurance.
