new water pump has been flushed no leaks checked all the usual culprits. could this be one of those rare cases where the gasket is allowing combustion gasses into coolant but not letting coolant into oil? ive given plenty of good answers here so it would kick a** if someone could help out

  1. what is the vehicle doing. what is your concern???

  2. Of course,we can only speculate.

A head gasket must hold and restrain in eight ways. It has to hold back, oil, water, combustion, and from the outside atmosphere. These four has to be held either in  or out. [4 elements x 2  ways, in/out= 8]

Now that we are confused, let me tell you that a head gasket ,when leaking{BLOWN} can leak all the above things either in or out of their prospective systems.

if compression is leaking into the cooling system there has to be a point of compression leak out of  the cooling system. the engine  would compress the system a long way past the 12-14 psi  limit of the pressure cap on the cooling system. If not all the hoses would swell and something would have to give. {radiator or radiator hose] And I mean quick!!!

There is a cooling system sealer I found about six months ago, and being amechanic, I never trusted the stuff. I tried this on my own car and it worked on a compression to water leak!  I can't remember it's name but I do remember it had a double your money back guarantee. The price was $19.00.

I HOPE WE DIDN"T FORGET TO MAKE SURE THE FAN IS RUNNING               GOOD-LUCK

    Found it at Auto-Zone.

                                  "BRILLIANT"!!!!

  3. I would pressure test the cooling system. But I am betting your radiator cap is out of spec.
