can some one give me a site where i can see all the jobs i can do as a marine you know with the codes and stuff .

how much in general expirence do you need before becoming a recpn marine ?

My recommendation is to use the first site to find the job title and military occupational specialty(MOS) number and then use that info to search on the second link to find exactly what that MOS does.  Talking to a recruiter would also help you tremendously.

You can go into Recon right after getting out of your MOS school but you have to have a 105 on the ASVAB, be an excellent swimmer(lifeguard level), be in outstanding physical condition and be eligible for a secret clearance.  It may not happen overnight but be persistent and vigilant.  Recon are the hardest of the hard.

I wouldn't recommend anyone try out unless you can run 3 miles in less than 19 minutes, do at least 17 dead hang pullups and do 100 crunches in 2 mins.  Start preping now.  These guidelines aren't the minimal standards according to print.  But meeting the minimal standards aren't what the Marines are about.

Recon requires you to be a promotable E-4 with impeccable record.

Job Requirements:

(1) Must possess a GT score of 105 or higher.

(2) Must possess a first class swimmer qualification.

(3) Must obtain a first class score on the PFT.

(4) All Marines, to include non-infantry desiring lateral move, must successfully complete the Marine Rifleman Course of instruction prior to attending the Basic Reconnaissance Course.

(5) Assigned as a primary MOS to MGySgt and below 03XX Marines by CMC (MM) and Reconnaissance OccFld Manager (PP and O Code POG), and approved lateral-move Marines from any other MOS, who graduate from the Basic Reconnaissance Course (BRC).

(6) Must be a U.S. citizen.

(7) Must be eligible for a secret security clearance.

(8) Must be medically qualified to perform jump and combatant dive qualifications IAW inter-service requirements established in the P117 Navy Manual of Medicine and Army AR 40-501. Marines assigned 0321 PMOS who become medically unqualified may be directed to Lateral move or be reassigned based on the Commanding Officer, MMEA and HQM recommendations IAW MCO P1000.6.

Entry level (pipeline) Marines are first screened while at the School of Infantry to attend the  Basic Reconnaissance Course

Best advice is dont get your hopes up for what you want they will tell you anything to get you in and once you sign the papers and good bye rights to complain about not getting what you wanted.
