1 thing what i cant understand?

Question

vegetanrians says its crule to kill the animals and they care so much for the environment but they kill all the plants and trees so really i dont understand that they want to save things when they kill things to and with out the plants and trees more and more greenhouse gases come around

they can see the animal or bird in pain while cutting off and blood oozing and end to a life like humans.but it's different in plants,and other point is if they or not cut to the roots they start growing regaining life.

1) plants dont have a nervous system.

2) many vegetarians and vegans i know cite environmental and humanitarian reasons for their diet rather than emotional ones. it takes about 10 times the land, for feed, to raise an animal to eat than to just eat the crop. most of the worlds wheat and corn crop go to feed animals which is quite bonkers when you think about it.

I was a vegetarian as a teenager until I realized that , in this universe, it's eat or be eaten. Everything is food for something else. You can't get away from killing in order to live, and there's no moral issue about it, unless you consider the way the food is killed/harvested. For instance, I don't eat veal because I don't want to contribute to that kind of suffering. I also don't buy things made from redwood trees because of the environmental impact. You have to choose your battles. But we are all food eventually.
