10.0+ earthquake?

means world destruction? I know, it sounds crazy and stupid and I don't mean to offend anyone, but I'm really wondering and curious. What would it feel like? would we be knocked against the walls of our homes?

10.0 + earthquakes doesn't mean everybody will die. But, it could destroy coastal lines, any man made structure, or mess up a river's route. Also, the waves of the earthquake would be at such a high amplitude they would be visually apparent. Massive tsunami's and landslides would occur. If you felt an earthquake like that you would be really shooken up and everything would tumble down.

Besides, 10.0 + earthquakes have never been recorded in human history.

well a 10.0 earhtquake would pretty much topple ALL buildings and possibly split parts of the earth and basically you have a very high chance of dying if not a 100% chance of dying.
