I don't think that list is entirly correct though. I know the top four are though.

    madsnake: i stand corrected.

    totally forgot about rocks.

  2. http://snaketracks.com -try this site!

  3. Liasis olivaceus olivaceus, Olive python

    Morelia amethistina, Amethystine python

    Python molurus bivittatus, Burmese python

    Python reticulatus, Reticulated python

    Python sebae, African rock python

    Apodora papuana, Papuan python

Eunectes murinus murinus, Green   anaconda                          Eunectes notaeus, Yellow anaconda

Eastern Indigo snake Drymarchon corais couperi

    Python molurus molurus, Indian python

these are the ten longest that i know of all are longer than four meters.

There are well over 100 species of snakes that exceed 10 feet in length.

  4. I'll give you the first five in order.

    1. Reticulated Python

    2. Green Anaconda

    3. African Rock Python

    4. Indian Python (including Burmese pythons)

    5. Amethystine Python

The first answer is incorrect. Diamond pythons rarely get over 10 foot, surely not 21 foot. The record for the diamondback rattler is just over 8 feet long, not 9 feet, and they wouldn't even qualify for the top 20 since black mambas get 14 feet and there are many boas and pythons that are bigger than rattlers. African rock pythons, the third largest snake in the world, aren't even mentioned. The list given by Boa Constrictor is pretty good, except I'd remove indigo snakes and add king cobras.
