Is there any point in a 1080P TV does it make any difference

  1. yes, they are the highest resolution availble, meaning they will look better than every other television resolution (1080i and 720p for high definition  480i standard def)


  2. Like others have said, 1080p is the highest resolution currently available on an HDTV..... It really is only noticably different from a 720p model if the set is 40 inches or larger.... but yes it makes a difference! I say go for a 1080p set, it will become the standard in the near future.

  3. If you want to play ps3 or intend on ever watching bluray? Then I suggest buying a 1080p HDTV.
