  1. Definately sounds like teething.  As long as the fever doesn't go over 101 there is no need to take him in (and even if you do they'll most likely tell you give him Tylenol or Ibuprofen and send you home).  You can give him some infant tylenol and/or teething tablets to make him feel better.  Just check with his pedi on how much Tylenol you can give him.  It's a good idea to give him some naked time or some cloth diaper time each day during teething to help with the rash.  Don't worry, in about a week he'll be all better and back to normal!

  2. Well everything that you said comes with teething.  Try some baby tylenol and see if that helps some. If you think something is really wrong then of course you would always call your pediatrician. Id rather be safe then sorry!

the diaper rash use some vaseline or destin

  3. i dont think you have to worry about anything just make sure you give him lots of fluids like water no juices or alot of milk the reason he has a rash is b/c of the saliva he is swallowing fever is also a sign of teething he's not eating b/c his mouth is getting new teeth try to bath him at night before bed time give him lots of love and then some water with a little bit of infants motrin/tylenol which ever works better for you! :) if that doesnt work maybe you should take him to your doctor and have him checked for ear infections/ or anything! :) good luck

  4. IT DEFINETLY SOUNDS LIKE TEETHING TO ME . AS A MOTHER OF 4 I REMEMBER THOSE DAYS. BUT IF YOU FEEL THE NEED TO TAKE YOUR LITTLE ONE TO THE DOCTORS THEN BY ALL MEANS FOLLOW YOUR MOTHERLY INSTINCT.

  5. you can take him just to make sure..but if its a low grade fever then i would say teething deffinately

  6. Diaper rashes are common when getting teeth, and it is usually the yeast type of rash.  Teething hurts, so baby teething gel should relieve some of the pain to help him sleep.  Not eating can be an issue, but as long as he is drinking milk and it doesn't go on too long it should be okay.  Crankiness is something that happens in teething.  I have raised 3, and all of these things happened everytime they got teeth...but if you are worried call your doctor or nurse.
