11 year old second hand smoke?

My friends dad smokes. Alot. She asks him not to around her, but he does it anyway. What should she do? She already told her mom, and she talks to him, but he still does it. How can she get him to stop?

tell the girl to tell her father that every 4 cigarettes he smokes around her, she inhales 1 whole cigarette herself from second hand smoke.

or just tell her to keep throwing away his pack. have her run them under water so he can't smoke them..

Unfortunately it sounds like dad isn't concerned for his own health or his children's health.

Maybe your friend could ask her mom to buy her an air purifier for her room, so at least she has somewhere

smoke-free to go.
