13 year old birthday party ?

Im turning 13 in one month and i dont know if i should have a party or not. I have done very well in my grades and like sports to , and my parents have a fairly high budget for my bday but i dont have any ideas for a birthday party and I dont really want a party at my house. So plz tell me a good party idea and also id like to know if i should throw a party for 13 plz help

I think it would be nice to throw a mid-sized party for your birthday. Wait until your 16th to have a /really/ big bash. 5-10 friends plus family would be about right, but you could always invite more.

A few years ago one of my friends had a party at a Victorian house. There was tea and punch, sandwiches, and all sorts of dainty foods fit for a lady-like lunch. It was a beautiful setting, and quite enjoyable.

You made it a point that you don't want to have it at your house, so just look around for spaces to rent. You might be inspired simply by the area.

If you want a themed party, base it around something meaningful to you. Your favorite movie, TV show, book, song, etc. It doesn't have to be gimmicky-- just use it as inspiration for your artistic vision. It will be much more personal.

Uh, well when I turned 13, parties were kinda lame.

(Except for this one, where the girls would get on the guys back and we would try to push other people down, THAT WAS FUN, than we had a seance...:D good times)

What most kids would usually do is, invite a whole lotta people to go paintballing, to the movies, to a theme park, or to the beach.

Than we would just chill.

It was lame, but fun.

I did a mall scavenger hunt, it was awesome, we had to have chaperones to make sure each group did the thing. You could use cameras.

some ideas are...

-find a pink bike

-say hi to someone you know in the mall

-find a perfume with the letter of your name.

-get a strand of your hair straightened

-get your makeup done by someone at the mall

-get a free sample

-find the birthday girl a card and write a poem in it [[card under a dollar]]

-throw a penny in the fountain

-try on a purple dress

etc. -sam, have fun!

for my 13 birthday

i had like 20 girls over (bad idea)

and they all slept over, but it was super fun

you could think about going to the ice skating place

or bowling is fun to hah
