  1. sorry to hear this about your son wetting the wetting the bed has alot to do with being scared of threathing him all the time are even being bulled all the time my son had the same problem but it all so has alot to do with him drinking alot of sodas all the time are even water before he goes to bed just make sure he does not drink nothing after 7pm and see if this helps him out alot if not take him to your doctor to see if the doctor can help him out so he wont wet the bed any more gl on helping your son get this problem fixs n hagd

  2. i would say "no" to the goodnites.

it would feel very humilating.  I suggest you get rubber mattress protector or something similar.

Have him do his own sheet laundry  (if he fails to do this, then you can tell him its he either does his own laundry or you will be forced to get the diapers)

It is very important he goes see a doctor to rule out physical reasons -- like a bladder problem.

If doctor evaluation points to emotional reasons, get counseling for him.  Don't put that off.

Above all, make sure you make him understand that his prolbem is one that occurss with some people, and he is not alone.  Treat it like a temporary medical prob, and NEVER complain or get irriated.  Respect his feelings and never embarass him with other members of family.

  3. yeah, i'd also find out what's going on.

Especially if it just started, it can be caused by stress.

    Maybe someone is bullying him?

  4. i would talk to a doctor..

i wet the bed till i was 8 or 9..

and come to find out it was because i had so much stress..

  5. yes

  6. Ask him his opinon: I mean he's 13 he is probably embarrased. He'll grow out of it. If it goes on then you should strongly suggest buying him goodnights.

  7. No tell him he is WAY to old to be peeing in the bed and needs to get up and go pee in the bathroom, and if he wont make him wash the sheets

  8. If I were you, I would remind him every once in a while to use the bathroom before bed. Make sure he's not drinking a lot before bed. If it continues, buy a small package of the 'goodnites' and put them on his pillow. Don't bring it up around him, because it would make it more embarrassing. If he feels comfortable using the diapers, he'll wear them at his discretion.
