  1. The answers you'll get will vary so much. It really depends where you have this party and how much money your parents would usually spend on you. My neighbor threw a party for her 10 year old which easily cost thousands and she didn't think anything of it - whereas my husband and I would never consider that reasonable for a party.

I have no idea how large your house is - so you should probably invite a reasonable amount of guests depending on the size it can accommodate. I would let you rent a costume if it were reasonable - and let you spend about 300 on decorations and food (again, if you invite 100 people you'll need a lot more money for food etc). It really depends on your situation.

  2. that sounds like a wonderful theme, i really hope you have lots of fun.

i would let you have up to 14 invited guests (i let my kids have the number of guests as their age) this is just your friends of course, family are extra and a given. yes you should hire a costume. when it comes to budgeting a party, that's where i come unstuck as i never know how much it will cost but a couple of hundred would probably cover it and that would include the costume and cake.

although you could make the cake with mums help and hand do invites and some decorations.

talk it over with your mum and dad and you will have a party to remember.

  3. Depending on the location... if at home, probably no more than 10 people. If at some other location, I'd let you invite as many as the fire code would allow. I'd probably let you rent a costume. Budget would depend on how much I've already spent on your school clothes. Probably, the party would BE you present from us. I'd probably go 250 or so for decorations and food. I'd also try to talk you into waiting for a big party until you turn 16 since that's a milestone.

  4. 20 people limit not including family if you want cousins to come....

    $300 total budget excluding costume.

    Costume would be an extra!

  5. probably $350 for your budget and maybe invite only your closes friends

  6. I let you hire/buy a costume

    Invite 20 friends

Spend £100 on food and decoration

I have the party at the house

    Enjoy your party :]

  7. It depends on place which you choose

  8. 10 friends max (without family)

Budget: $50 per person (without costume)

Decorations will be extra in the budget.

  9. invite limit would be about 15 people and up to $100 for food etc - my daughter turns 14 this weekend too i have a giant blowup castle slide with a BBQ with close family and friends coming ,enough to control not to get out of hand.

  10. I'd say no more than 20 people. I sew as a hobby, so I'd ask to do the costume myself. I'd probably budget about $300 for food and decorations, most of that for food since teenagers seem to eat a lot, unless you have a bunch of anorexic guests.

  11. If it was at home-15 people

If at another location-as many people as the place allows.

Yes i'd let you hire a costume if you wanted, but if you were my daughter, i'd take you out shopping, get ideas, and make the costume together. It's more fun, and you get to show off your outfit to all your friends.

My budget for food, decorations, etc--Well i wouldnt have a budget as such, but i'd have to say-DONT GO CRAZY- but i'd want you to ahve the best party you could have so, maybe £300-tops.

This is just what i'd do, obviously.

Anyway, i hope you have a great party, regardless of any kid of budget etc.

    Have fun!

    Porsha xx
