15 month old on Previcid?

Question

My son just went in for his 15 month well visit. He is still spitting up a lot so the Dr put him on Previcid tablets. I gave him his first dose this morning and 2 hours later he spit up. Does it take a couple of times before it kicks in? If there is anyone out there that has gone through this same thing I would appreciate your comments. Thanks :)

My son was 2 months old when they put him on previcid, i didn't really notice a difference, he's 7 months old now and spits up all the time.

It can take time. We got the powder for my nephew and mixed it with applesauce every morning.

My daughter started taking Prevacid at two months of age.  She never spit up very much, but was very fussy.  She was tested for acid reflux and she had it.  She eventually took Prevacid and Pepcid to control her acid reflux, but it does take a few days before you will see any type of relief.

My son was 6 months old when his doctor put him on previcid. I never noticed a difference even after a week.
