16 and becoming an exchange student!??

hey well im 15 years old and in one year when im in 11th grade im going to be an exchange student in Spain or another spanish country. Is this a good idea? Im really excited but nervous any advice or any thooughts??

It's a great idea!  

Make sure you meet with your high school counselor before you go, so that you can plan classes which will transfer.  

You will learn a lot about people, language, culture, and more.  It will be a hard year but well worth it!  It will also help you get into college.

great idea. i did it when i was 16. i will give you some advice.

learn to cook! learn your cultures food and secret family recipies. food is a great way to share culture. get a good camera, and bring photos. honestly i suggest to leave your music behind. you will find yourslef wanting to escape into your american music or american comfort when the culture shock gets high. and it could make you miss out on a lot.
