  1. it looks the same

  2. Mine is 500gb lol it was originally a 60gb so has all the backwards compatibilty and card readers. There will probably be no difference except the memory(which you can change like I did). It will probably have the same  spec as the top models-American 80gb and European 60gb. It will look exactly the same although you can get red, white and silver PS3s in Japan

  3. It looks the same.

    It is coming at christmas.

it is the same except it has an extra 80 gigs of HDD.

  4. The only difference between it and the new 80 is the drive space. That means no card readers, only 2 usb ports, and no ps2 games only ps1 games.

It's a shame Sony is confusing people by labeling its models according to hard drive space. The amount of internal hard drive space is one of the least important factors. You can upgrade the internal hard drive on any ps3, but more importantly you can add vastly more drive space, for cheaper, by adding a usb external drive, a far more sensible option.

Since the 160 is supposedly going to cost $500, it would be much wiser to just get a used old (metal gear or earlier) 80, or a 60 or 20 if you can find one. The ps2 games, usb ports and card readers are a better perk than extra internal hard drive space.
