I have a 1883 Zenith TV set model NO. Z1920W, that I have had in storage. I set it up in my bedroom with the cable and it seems to work but the channels only go up to 4. I need some help, thanks.

  1. Channels 4.1 on cable ???  If you mean channel 41 that is as high as a lot of 1983 TV sets went.   NO one could possibly watch that many TV channels,  so so they thought way back then.  Cable normally stopped at channel 36.  A 36 channel cable system in 1983 was state of the art.

You can buy a very cheap TV analog TV converter box and use it as your tuner (garage sales or flea markets), or an old VCR will do the same thing. Put your TV on channel 3 or 4 and tune the channels with the converter box/VCR.

Welcome to history, cable TV has changed in 25 years.
