1995 Dodge Stratus Rough Idle & Stalling?

Question

The vehicle has been stalling periodically as well as having a rough idle occasionally. These also occur whether the engine is cold or hot. Another observation was that the car shows a code 43 by the key check method. Any thoughts as to what may be causing this?

You may want to check some of the tsb(technical service bulletins).

I think that the p043 code is for a o2 sensor, but I suspect you may have other problems also! maybe a problem with the head gasket. Are you loosing any coolant?

Auto zone and some others will check the codes for you and give you possible causes. It is a free service at auto zone!
