2 hp johnson????help!?

i bought a fishing boat for my husband and we are curious about the motor? can anyone tell us how it works? it looks simple but we want to know details on it. if anyone knows please give details:)

The 2 HP Johnson/Evinrude doesn't have a lot of details.  It uses 50:1 gas/oil mix (2.5 oz. per gal.) that goes in the top tank.  There should be a fuel shutoff valve on the bottom of the tank.  The engine is a 'pull and go' with no neutral or reverse.  It is not a very powerful engine and I would recommend staying out of nasty weather as the engine might not be able to push against the wind.
