Hi,I'm Italian and I to a study-vacation...and I need to know what to put on the suitcase....and some my parents tell me that if you do 2 with forefinger and with the middle finger it is an insult,is that real?

hello, Yes that is true, some of the older generation would take offence to it though Im sure you wouldnt mean it as an insult , I wouldnt use it if I were you, its not worth it,

yes thats an insult, so is the middle finger, pack something waterproof it usually rains over here

normally we simply;y attach a name and flight number to a suitcase in case it gets lost etc.

never put an address on it unless its a hotel as it may? be used by thieves to  burgle a property  thinking you are away on holiday.

  one finger (middle one) is very rude and  people can react  badly to it. two fingers can also be  seen as  similar but there is a two finger salute with with palm of hand outward that is not  seen as insulting ( goes back to Churchill and world war two) bets not to give any of those finger signals and then you wont go wrong. enjoy your stay.

yes, making a V sign with the index finger and middle finger is an insult.

but only if the back of the hand is facing forward
