1.can my american toads eat dragonyflys.?

can they eat fruit if so how??

2.someone told me american toads dont really need uv lighting because i always put them out in the feild and let them play soo is it a nessecity and do i have to buy food even though i did?

They don't eat fruit. They eat insects. Buy them some crickets. Don't give them dragonflies. Dragonflies are good at eating mosquitos, so leave 'em alone! And most toads are nocturnal and don't need UVB lights.

2:uv is not strickly necessary but a 1-2% bulb will do it good. ummmm yeah u kinda have to feed them something buy crickets worms mealworms slugs etc nothing wider than the space between its eyes
