to answer your first question, decans are the three splits in the period of time a sign rules the heavens. each split makes up a third of the sign. each third is influenced by a different sign of the same element. a different planet also rules the each third. for example, pisces rules from feb. 19 until march 20. the first third of its period, feb. 19 to feb. 28 is ruled by pisces and the planets jupiter and neptune. the second, march 1 to march 10 is ruled by cancer and by the moon. lastly, march 11 to 20 is ruled by scorpio along with mars and pluto.

you, like me, are a pisces born in the third decan. we are ruled by the planets mars and pluto and by the sign of scorpio. we are still pisceans and have the qualities of the fish, but scorpio traits are also present in our personalities. for example, we are as artistic and as talented as pisceans are supposed to be, but unlike a "pure" pisces, we actually have the determination and the persistence to finish what we started. scorpio also gives us an extreme desire to know things. we are more curious and tend to have a lot of secrets than a "pure" pisces, which also means we tend to lie a lot more. we also want to get into the bottom of things. unlike a typical description of pisces, we seek vengance more often than not, and thanks to our supposedly kind nature, we get away with it easily. lastly, some people say that we are one of the sexiest people. pisces gives us the eyes, the hair, the face, and the grace, but scorpio energizes that and contibutes to our sensuousness and sexiness. we tend to be more lusty and... you get the point.
