2001 toyota tacoma question?

just bought a tacoma 5spd and its weird it doesnt have a rpm gauge. ive seen a couple on the internet that also doesnt have rpm gauges. how can i get one id like to have one since its a 5spd. and why doesnt it have one thanks. o yea its a 4x4 2.7 liter if that matters.

The 2.7 did not come with a tach...It was an option...The 2.7 was the economy tacoma...All the sr5,s did come with a tach...You can buy one from kragen or shucks at a reasonable price that will work..You can get a better one from www.summitracing.com..Ever notice that all the 2.7 trucks have manuel locking hubs and the v6 do not?Same reason ecnomy....
