2002 Jeep Liberty Stereo?

Question

i just got an 02 jeep liberty..and i've noticed that the volume turns its self up and down.

it wont do it if i turn the volume lower but when i turn it up it will go up and down by its self over and over

does anyone know how to solve this or why its happening?

its probably a short some where in the radio. go get an aftermarket 1 not tht expensive
