  1. Rude it down with some lead. Should work:)

    Good luck!!

  2. The key is worn out and now won't come out.  The ignition lock cylinder must be replaced.

  3. i dont know about a re call. get a can of W-D40. it comes with a tiny red straw taped to the side  attach to can, stick the stray in the ignition as far as you can and spray, its a little messy, but will work. also do you have any jackasses around/? some  might have super glud you.also once in my pick up .i didnt have the key in  far enough, and bent.it. let us know.

  4. I work for a rental car company, and had several Cobalts do the exact same thing.  Here's what to do:  There is a small plastic cover (I think it's square looking) under the steering column.  Pop off the cover and look up into the column and find the small white button.  Pressing this button will release the key.

This should help you until you get the car to a shop for repairs (you should have a warranty on a two year old car).

  5. You failed to give enough information, but try turning the steering wheel left or right while you try to turn the key gently and get the key out. If this doesn't work, ask again but give way more information.
