absoluteley. I see it in action all the time. The "investigative report" shows pick apart an obviously poorly run business, and it makes things bad for the whole industry. Brainless sheep watch their local news discuss politics, and go with what the local news guy says, even though the local guy just tries to make his pick look good. everyone complains about Iraq. Id be willing to bet that if those same people had ALL the info, they might not complain as much. Its the federal government. They dont tell the public EVERYTHING. The Coulmbine tragedy happens...now any kid in a trenchcoat must be trouble. Lets all hype 1 illegal alien kid in Florida, but millions cross into California without it being hyped. People really need to learn to think for themselves and see the real problems and the sources of those problems.
