3 yr old not talking?

my 3 yr old neice cant talk only her mum can understand you ask her a question she repeats what u said u ask her to say sumthing she says one word out of the sentence wat is wrong with her

Most school districts or intermediate units have free early intervention screenings.  The doctor can usually give you a number to call to get information and to schedule an (in home?) evaluation.  I'm not sure at 3 what the criteria is for language development, but it sounds like she may need a little help.  If the evaluator agrees, the intermediate unit will provide speech therapy (again, I think it's free of cost, but I'm not sure)  Good Luck!

The symptom is called echolalia.  She may possibly be autistic.

She needs expert assessment. Her parent should take her to a doctor to determine what the next steps are. If there's nothing wrong then no issues, if further assessment is required then it should be completed by a person qualified in this area.

Some children don't develop good sentence structure because they just don't need too, if she says drink and get the drink then why say can I have a drink please, sometimes mums know what their kids want and give it to them without them really needing to communicate their need, I wouldn't be too worried about anything more serious if that is the only symptom, just try when she wants something encouraging her to use her big girl words,

I would be more worried if day care had raised the issue she probably speaks better there because she has too
