30th birhtday ideas?

My 30th birthday is on 27th July and i don't know what to do. I live in Southfields in south west london. anyone got any ides where i can go. i don't want to go to a night club or pub cause i been there, done that. i want to do something different. please help.

My wife took me away to Barcelona for the weekend. We had a great time seeing the sites and we even flew business class on the way over!  

What should you do? It depends on your budget and also what kind of person you are. If you are really sociable person with lots of friends then a simple houseparty with your best friends is cool.  If there is one special person in your life, why not do something special, go somewhere you;ve not been before with them.

Whatever you do, make sure you're extravagant about it! You're only 30 once!

Why not do something like abseiling or parachute out of a plane for a charity or something... instead of people buying you presents they can sponser you instead!

I was lucky because I have a friend who is only 5 days younger than me.  We hired a private dining room in a fab restaurant bar (which has unfortunately closed) and had a strict black tie dress code, which made it a lot more special.

Have a themed party, go away on a wine tasting experience just a more chilled out way to do something with mates go horseracing, go somewhere you always talked about going.  Do anything just don't get depressed about the fact that you are older.
