'In the night garden question' ?

Where are the Blue Pontinpines (if thats the right name), you always see the red pontipines during the program, but the blues never come out, I have seen them dance during the show on the ferris wheel but other than that they have never played any further part, why bother having them in the show at all, would it not have just been easier for the red pontipines to live in a detached house that was just red than live in a semi-detached with hermit neighbours ?

They're called the Wattingers. They're never featured as main characters, but there are times when you see them out and about and the Pontipines wave at them.

The Wassingers, as they are called, have been in a couple of episodes and they have featured in the magazine as well. Don't you think it is nice to know The Pontipines have friendly, quiet neighbours.
