5.1 to DTS?

can somebody shine some informed light on how to produce/convert 5.1/(seperated) sound using surcode software?

I've always preferred DTS to Dolby 5.1.  But there's not that much difference.  There is if you compare Dobly Surround though.

Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS 5.1 are both discrete. You need at least 5 tracks of audio to handle this effectively. Maybe you could record in Dolby ProLogic?
