6.2 miles to far?

im moving to a new house which is 6.2 miles far from the school that i go to and i still want to go to u think that is to far to commute back and fourth i have basketball practice i have to get a personal ride because im out of the boudries to get a school bus my parents dont want me to take the city bus because they think i might get kid napp my parents are willing to give me rides and back but i feel sorry for them because i have to wake them up in 7 in the morning to go i also have basketball practice on saturday morning

That's nothing. Hope they support you playing basketball. Just give them a big smile and say thanks mom/dad should suffice.

It should be OK for now.  When you are older you can take the city bus.  They can give you rides till then.
