any thing like small frogs,toads,bugs,small fish...they`re not picky...

u could try buy feeder minnows like rosy reds at petco for like 12 cents each or small feeder goldfish. also i have seen my teachers have a lot of luck in rehabilitating snakes using nightcrawlers or worms you find in the backyard. just make sure your yard doesnt have pesticides:)

put them next to a bowl and fill it with water and feeder fish you can watch videos of garter snakes  eating fish on youtube  its actually pretty cool coller than feeding mice in my opinion check it out
