7 year old son?

Question

My 7 year old son is having problems at school because of his height. He is 6'2" and is stating to grow like 3 inches a month. Kids are picking on him and i wonder if anyone could help. Im only 5'3" and his dads 6 foot.

I hope your son is under the care of a doctor. If he isn't he needs to be seen right away. I once had a 5 year old in my class that was so heavy he wore a size large in Menes sweat pants. He was so heavy he could not walk well.

The teacher should address this as she would any other disability. She could explain in simple terms the reason he is growing so fast and they could talk about how it makes others feel when they are teased.

There is no way your 7 year old can be 6'2! I highly doubt your story.

If it IS true and there's an issue, talk to the administration.

ummm.....surely you realize that at 7 years old children are not that height. I hope he is being seen by a pediatrician.

the only thing you can do is talk to the teacher and she will have to deal with the child and the class just like she would if there were a child in the room in a wheel chair. sometimes the parent going in the room to talk to the children and answer their questions aabout your sons condition helps them understand it alot better and change thier attitude.
