If i hooked my oponent and all he has left is the 8 ball and calls just a shot but sinks one of my balls what happens?

  2. its your turn, nothing happens. if he hit yours then his in he would lose or if he scratced the 8 afterwards or hit in the wrong pocket. IT COUNTS AS A TYPE OF SCRATCH THOUGH U GET TO RESET THE BALL IF HE DIDNT EVEN HIT HIS AND ONLY MADE YOURS IN NO ONE ELSE CAN SHOOT UR BALL W/O PENALTY

  4. In bar rules.  As long as he hits the 8 ball first and didn't scratch, it's fine. Not a loss. Play the ball where it lies

  6. He fouled so you get a ball in hand.  He only loses if he scratched on the 8 ball but not if he hits one of your balls instead.

Not sure on the bar rules ruling..kind'a hard to see what you are trying to ask...per BCA you have to hit your balls first or it is a foul so you would get ball in hand....he has to hit the 8 ball first and then some ball must touch a rail...any ball touching counts as a legal shot as long as he contacted the 8 first....per the rule you would get the ball in hand....in bar rules I think he can just shoot it anywhere and you have to shoot from where he leaves it..unless he scratches then you shoot behind the head string.....it could be smart on his part to scratch if the 8-ball was behind the headstring!!.....that's why I stay out of bars...rules like this end up in a fight!....good luck!

  11. This is not a loss in APA rules. Its just ball in hand to you. 3 fouls in a row would then be a loss. So if you can safe his 3 times and cause him to do this 3 times in a row, your golden. However, technically the 3 foul rule only applies in tournaments sometimes and in Vegas at the finals....So regular league play, no. But as the pros play the 3 foul rule is in effect.
