  1. If you don't already have one go buy a multi meter at your local hardware store.  You should have about 13.5 volts at the battery with the engine running.  If you don't check on the back of the alternator, did you leave a wire off?  If you don't have over 13 volts on the back of the alternator with the engine running replace the alternator.  Even new parts are bad from time to time.  Your battery should have between 12 and 12.5 volts with the engine off.  If it's low charge it up with a battery charger before replacing the alternator.  You can fry a new alternator trying to charge a bad battery.  The Alternator is designed to keep a battery topped up, not repair a dead battery.

  2. you could have a bad voltage regulator. even though it,s a new alternator, you still can buy a bad 1.take it back and get another alternator.what about the belt.

  3. Be sure that the F [field] connection on the alternator is actually getting 12 volts to energize the unit so that it works.Sometimes we jumper the field to the bat to do that. That's fine to drive with but the battery will eventually drain when the engine is shut down.

If that does the trick then there's no power from the ignition.
