i just baught a 93 camaro and braught it into the dealership for a 100 check over. The bad news is the crossframe is rusted and has 2 holes in it about 2" by 1" each, it needs an egr valve and pipes, right outer tie rod, left inner tie rod, left sway bar link. The dealership looked at the 2 holes in the front crossframe (axle) and refused to work on it, go figure the car cost $850 and was parked next to a $60,000 brand new corvette. Im gonna bring it to a garage tommorow and ask if they will work on it. My question is how much do you guys think it will fix to cost? i plan on getting the crossframe welded, does anyone have experience with this? How costly is it? I realy think this car is worth the money to fix up even if it gets up near $1000(which hopefully isnt the case) thanks and 10pts for a good answer

  1. OOHHH...I don't know, man...I would stay away from this one...

I'm sure you can find a nice LS1 for the amount of money this car is gonna cost you.

    Good luck?

  2. lol the crossframe is rusted and you want to weld it. you cant weld rust. id find another car as that one sounds like a lemon. lets put it like this, if i purchased a car for 850 dollars and it lasted me three weeks and died, then i can say i got my money worth. get a second job, save up like 5 grand, and get something half decent
