95 dodge intrepid wont crank

Recently changed the positive battery connection and now the car will not crank it will start to crank but stop like the battery is dead any help welcomed

  1. Well I'd be testing that battery and if possible fully charging it then retrying to start the vehicle, plus I'd check all the wires near where you worked and the ignition wires off the starter for a loose , frayed , burnt , or faulty wire.

    The basic key here is why did you change the positive battery cable in the first place , probably bec you were having starting problems right? If so over haul the rest of the contacts etc I mention and make sure you have good shiny clean contacts.
