I am getting a 9800 gt in a few weeks one of the key features why i chose this over the other cards is because it has new physx suppport, which should help out my single core athlon 3000 as when physics on crysis etc. come in to play the frame rate plunges.

So how do i use it?? - is there special drivers or something??

&

Will this help the bottleneck caused by the cpu

  1. Hey man.

Yea, the new 9800 GT does have physX support. There are drivers on the nVidia website to get them. But, physX is for some limited games.

    Here look:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PhysX

just scroll down to the bottom for title support. Crysis isn't support. I dont' think it will help the bottleneck caused by the CPU. If you are getting the card, get a new CPU, other wise bottleneck will be worse.

  2. It is a driver download available for free from nvidia. Find it here-
