  1. thats such an awesome question! i think about that a lot. i think that there are some beings out there that are almost as old as the universe itself. and i truly think that we will eventually evolve into immortal beings. through time and experiences that will eventually lead us into our inevitable future. with that said i also think that all the beings of this universe will one day join together. there will be so many of gods creatures that have evolved to be gods themselves. if we are created in his image then thats what i believe is our future. we will be able to create planets stars galaxies and even universes. i mean it sounds crazy but so did cloning humans from just a few cells. so with enough knowledge of our universe we will understand the fundamentals of its existence. which will lead us into the next step which is to create our next world. just like we will do when its time to leave earth..we will have to leave the universe to find or create another. i think by the time our universe is about to clock out..we will be ready for our new adventure. sounds exciting doesn't it?!? :-D

  2.   It is finite,it won't contract it's extreme edges go out of existence due to diminished density.

It is an incident that began with a potential and it will end in a state of eternal nothing.

  3. Well ofc the universe is finite, nothing can be infinite. Should the big crunch come then we won't know about it and we'll just be consumed by it and die.

All of this depends on how much matter there is in the universe. If their is too much then gravity will eventually pull all matter in the universe towards the middle. If their is not enough then the universe will continue expanding forever and ever.

  4. The Big Crunch, the one that you just described(even though you didn't describe it correctly) was ruled out as way of how the Universe will end!

The Universe will end in the Big Rip! Galaxies will keep going farther and farther away until even the atoms will be ripped apart!
