Right now I am 14 and I want to drive a Motorcycle when I am older...

I have experience with Dirt Bikes...

But I like the "Racer" type of look on a Motorcycle like the Yamaha R6 and Suzuki Hayabusa

But I need to work my way up to those

I like Suzuki the best of all the brands

Just wanting to know what is best starting Motorcycle for me?

  1. Never fall in love with a bike just on its looks

The Suzuki's are the brand that's made cheap and generic

Honda and Yamaha are a much better bike when it comes to engineering, and reliability.

After you get your motorcycle license and in the market for a beginner bike I would suggest no crotch rockets because at your young age the cost of insurance will be in outer space.

I know guys that are 30 years old with a clean driving record that are paying close to $3000 a year to insure a crotch rocket.

  2. you have a couple of years yet why not wait and see what is made in a year. Busa'a are old news and ninja 250's are not worth the price of the  powder to blow them up.

  3. If you really like Suzuki look into the SV650. You can get them used pretty cheap and it is one of the funnest bikes Ive ever ridden...and I have a SV1000.  Easy to ride, very agile, comfortable, and good torque from a 650. You can get them naked SV650 or half-naked  SV650s (sportier ergos too)

I also like the yamaha FZ6.

  4. Being that every one has different taste,a nd are different size, and ages.

    There is no best.

It comes down to what you like, and can handle, and hwo big your pocketbook is

  5. for u it is gud to have a 300 cc bike.first.then a year later try 600

  6. dont be picky just get something like a wr450

  7. Even if you are a "experienced" dirt bike rider, do not get anything over 500cc's not even 600. I've seen it happen too many times, beginner "thinks" he can handle a 600cc bike and it all goes wrong within a couple days. Another piece of advice when riding is always have a plan b, be prepared for the worst in any situation on the road.

  8. try with kawasaki ninja 250- its a very good sportbike for starters. also ninja 500 or suzuki gs 500f. don't start off hayabusa because its too powerful, also yamaha r6 are not powerful as hayabusa, but they are agile and gives the feelings of supersport motorcycle. even honda cbr 600 acts same as yamaha r6. as a starter never look for a bigger bike.
