Question:

A bears strength?

If a bear were to bench press how much would it be able to do approx? Wouldn't it be like 12-15 times the average man?? And how much more is this compared to tigers?

PLease help!!

  1. If they did it would be about 400-600 lbs. To tigers it will be twice as strong.


  2. I'd say a male Kodiak bear adult, at say 1,000 pounds, would be capable of hitting something with a forepaw at about 2,000 or 3,000 pounds of force. Enough to crush a moose's skull instantly. I would say that the brown bear is 100 times stronger than a man. A tiger perhaps 800 pounds and a lion maybe 500 or 600 pounds.
