He's not playing in the preseason. How do you think he will do this year? I got the #1 pick in my FFootball league. Of course I'm taking him. Just wonder how he'll do.

  1. LT will always be a good #1 pick unless he is injured

  2. LT will be the best running back/fantasy player in the league. Its a no brainer you made the right decision.

  3. We are talking about Mr Consistency here, this guy has the knack of getting the most important yardage when needed, not alone his most greatest attribution that ability to get into the end zone.

I see him getting around 1500 or more yards and most likely in the neighborhood of 16 or more td's.

San Diego not only took pressure off Antonio Gates by adding Chambers to the list, expect both to 1,000 yards recievers this year.

As what this do for the running game, man if I was a defensive coach in the NFL and SD on schedule I bet concerned, if I was defensive coach in the AFC west and have to play these guys twice, I retire,

With Sproles very capable of giving LT a breather and Hester coming in for the dirty work seems to bounce off guys chugging forward I like this kid, a minature version of John Riggins, spells a formula of the best

    running attack in the NFL.

Dont be surprise to find the chargers total

offense overall ranked in the top 3 and its total defense being ranked in the top 5. This spells for a very balance football team.

Superbowl bound unless some very bad things happen.

  4. He never plays in pre-season. That's just what he does, to make sure he is 100% for the season.

And you can never go wrong with LT. Simply because he will always (Well 95% of the time) guarantee you 10+ TD's and around 1,400 yards every year unless he is injured.

  5. The Chargers never let him play in the Pre-Season, so no worries there. He did have a tear on his MCL, but at least it wasn't his ACL, which would have been devastating. He didn't need surgery, but it could interfere with his once graceful cuts. I've picked him on 4 of my 6 fantasy leagues; the other two times I wasn't able to. His offensive line has gotten another year under its belt and is very experienced. Remember, when he went on his rampage two years ago, his offensive line was young, with Marcus McNeil, Kris Dielman, Nick Hardwick and Shane Olivea (no longer with them) all having less than 3 full seasons of experience. This year, he was the victim of having only Antonio Gates as a receiving threat, which put the pressure on him to perform. But did you notice how when Chris Chambers came, his stats jumped up? With Chris Chambers, Vincent Jackson and maybe Buster Davis, to go along with Antonio Gates, the passing game will keep defenses honest (I know that sounds weird, but that's how things roll in San Diego).

I'm predicting that he'll run for about 1650 yds., receive around 400 yds., and score a total of 18 TD's.

Sure, those are mortal numbers, but then again, I doubt we'll see the 2006 version of LT ever again. He's getting older, and that's why the Chargers drafted Jacob Hester. Next year, LT will be the Fred Taylor to Hester's MoJo. It's sad, but hitting the 10,000 yards mark shows that you've been worn and torn quite a bit in your career. It's surprising he's lasted this long, especially now that the RB committee mindset is almost complete all around the league. This is the main reason why LT is so highly revered in this league: Who else can say they're THE GUY in their backfield? Thought so.

  6. he will brake his own td record that he set and he will lead the chargers to a super bowl this is his year

  7. Jacob Hester > Michael Turner

    LT's production gets even better

  8. I think he'll be as good or better this season...

  9. he busted his knee last year expect his stats to go down
