My husband's birthday party is in a few weeks and im thinking of throwing him a suprise party. He will be 30 but i'm not sure if this is the right thing to do for a man? and i also have questions about singing happy birthday... should we do that?? just any input would be great. Also it's just going to be close family and friends.

  1. Do it, and sing Happy Birthday

He will remember the thought for ever

(of course then there's pressure on him)

  2. have a stripper or swinging party , that would really be fab

if not just food and drink , oh and the happy birthday singing would so awkward jus leave it out , loads of old pics aswell to bring smiles

  3. I threw a 30th surprise casino themed party for my husband.  He thought some of his out of town friends were coming in for the weekend and that was it.  I told him on the day of the party that I had some errands I needed to run and that I would meet him and his friends at the restaurant.  So they were in charge of getting him to the venue.  It was hilarious... they told him that they had a pre birthday surprise gift for him and they blindfolded him and drove him all over the place (to kill a little more time) then kept him blindfolded until he arrived.  The venue was a small private airport and he thought they were flying him somewhere, lol.  Everyone yelled surprise and trust me... he was surprised and was amazed at how many people showed up for his party.  He absolutely loved it!  We sang happy birthday - I'm not sure anyone would have known when it was okay to eat the cake if we hadn't!  He will really love all the thought you put into making a milestone bday so special for him!

  4. Yes - do it but go 100%. I gave my hubby a surprise party for his bday and he loved it. We had it at a park - the ruse was his friend who said he needed a sub for a softball game and hubby was happy to help out. When he got there, about 40 of us were hanging out, having a family picnic in his honor. We didn't make a big production out of the gifts but we did sing happy birthday (you HAVE to - it's tradition for any size bday!). He especially loved spending time with family and friends. Good luck and have fun!

  5. uhh maybe have a barbque just dont yell surprise.. and yeahh  singg happy birthdayy that would be special..  plus a barbque is more mature instead of havin him a birthday partyy
