I am still in school, and when i grow up i would like to do a job in Law. i have been doing research and have found out that first of all of course i have to do all my A-levels (by the way which should i choose to help qualify me for a job in that subject) and after that you are meant to go to university and get a Law degree and after that you go to law school, and after that you do training. Is this true. Thanks for your help.

  1. In Scotland the way it works is you go to University for 4 years to get a law degree and then you work for 2 years within a law firm (spending 6 months in each department, e.g. court, corporate) as a trainee. After the 2 years you are fully qualified as a Solicitor.
