A couple makeup questions in one?

Question

1. i have fair skin, not super super pale but white and i have blonde hair. When i put foundation on that's fine, but when i come back over it with powder it makes my eyebrows look all chalky. any way to help this? and don't say put pencil in your brow cuz i have large eye brows and that doesn't help which leads me into my next question -

2. i think my eyebrows are too big. but i'm kinda scared to get them waxed cuz i see so many girls with way to tiny eyebrows and it look really bad! where do you recomend me going to get them shaped?

3. whats a good fingernail polish color for my type of skin? i likie color and i want something that shows but not stands out like lime green or somethin.

1. Just when you go over with powder, try to avoid your eyebrows.

2. Keep in mind that most of the time, people dont choose the way the person does their eye brows. So just make sure that you go to a place where you know people have gotten theirs done that look good.

3. Dark purple would look good. I wear black even though I'm not emo/goth or what ever. I goes good with my skin and a lot of people I know wear it too.

dont be scared to wax your eyebrows

when you do, tell the stylist that you want FULL, natural arched eyebrows that fit your face shape.

you should be good.

get the eyebrows threaded.It's amazing for shape,and the hair doesnt grow back that fast either.Waxing is a big no no.I have big eyebrows,and they look lovely and exotic when shaped using threading.Check your local area for salons that offer this-asian parlours could help!

Hello, i have quite pale skin too but i am brunette.  First of all wash your face gently before applying makeup, remember to wash your eyebrows because they trap dust.  Try not to put too much powder on your eyebrows, i just dust my face lightly with it.  Also, you may have quite dry eyebrows/ skin and that is why it is going all chalky so why don't you put some moisturizer on your eye brows , vaseline is fine before applying your powder.  If that still doesn't work then maybe try getting a new powder that isn't so heavy.

2:  Ok,i am like you.  I used to have a big big problem with my eyebrows.  My friend would pluck them for me but it would hurt because she isn't very experienced and they would sometimes go funny shaped.  I think that you should get them waxed, thats what i did.  It is actually really relaxing.  Of course it hurt a bit but beauty can be painful!  People react differently to waxing but i didn't find it too bad.  It is quick so the pain isn't too bad.  I live in the UK and i went to his salon called, "the salon."  It was very good but expensive.  The rainbow rooms is supposed to be good too though and i think that is a worldwide salon.

3: For your nails i would suggest a pale corol/ orangy colour for your nails or maybe a light shade of green.  Don't have something really dark because that will make your skin look really pale.  Then cote over it with a clear nail varnish!

use loose powder and a brush to put on your powder, or don't use it at all if you don't have greasy skin.

when you get your eyebrows waxed, its by a professional and she will shape it properly and only go as thin as you tell her to.

i have big eyebrows too and get then waxed every now and again just to get the shape back then pluck regularly to keep the shape :)

about the polish, i'm not too sure!

dont touch your eye borws cuase there very hard to get right so there probably great the way the are. i would say that a lightish pink would be a good nail polish for you. not liek white but a softer pink. try to avoid ur eye borws while powdering.

I use a browbrush, or u could use a toothbrush. Thicker brows are what's hot...maybe just tweeze the stragglers! I brush my brows upward, hold finger on them and trim the edges w/ a small scissors to help them look well groomed!   There are some really pretty chocolatey brown/red nail colors out there...embrace your paleness!!
