One day a father and his son went out to a lake to go fishing. They fished all day, but only the son was able to catch a fish. At the end of the day when they arrived home, cooked and eaten both of the fish that they had cought that day.

But how could this be possible, if the son was the only one to catch a single fish?

  1. the father is a son too, the grandfathers son!

  2. the son caught 2

    or maybe

    they shared the fish

  3. his father caught more than one

  4. maybe, there's another fish inside the fish that the son caught.. ^^

  5. Because the riddle never actually says that the son caught only one fish, it basically states that he was the only one able to catch fish.

  6. the father bought a fish from the market? lol

  7. Because Mum went to Iceland !!!!

I think as others have pointed out as well You have not got the riddle right>

  8. i think there's something wrong about the this..i think it should be there are two fathers and two sons..the grandpa and the father which is also the son of the grandpa so if the the son got a single fish there will be two fishes..
