  1. try  this ideal weight calculator, based on age, gender and height. It

gives  you the per cent of people heavier than you, too. And shows you

how you compare to others: http://www.halls.md/ideal-weight/body.ht...

  2. At your height and weight she is at the high end of the normal range using the bmi calculator (link below).

So she's not overweight but is at risk for being overweight.

I would suggest she add some exercising if she doesn't already and try eating low fat and low sugar foods and drinks.  This way she will be able to stay in the normal range.

  3. I would say that she is not over weight but 10 more pounds and she would be. she is on the latter of the scale of healthy for her height. But her pant size sounds good. Remember that muscle weighs more than fat.

  4. 1st of all the answer above and anyone else using a BMI calculator is sadly misinformed and that can't be a way to justify if someone is overweight.  It doesn't take in consideration of muscle mass.  Considering the BMI  states that I am obese since I am 5'5" and 192 lbs with 13% body fat which is hardly fat at all.  So disregard BMI comments.

It depends on her muscle to fat ratio.  She could always have her body fat percentage checked at a gym.  That would be the best way to figure out where she's truly at.
